The Le Sueur Nursery School nicknamed “ The Little Red Schoolhouse” has been proudly serving children and their families for more than seventy years. Our facility, including a fenced in playground, is located at 812 South 6th Street in Le Sueur is specially designed for Early Childhood.
School History
We have a tradition of excellence, Our school has always been education driven with emphasis on academic and social preparation for kindergarten. We adhere to the Health and Safety Guidelines established by the State of Minnesota.
School History: The Le Sueur Nursery School began in 1948 in a church basement. In 1952 the school moved into a new facility with an accompanying grant provided by the David and Arthur Cosgrove Memorial Foundation. In March of 1999 our current school facility was built and provided by the Cosgrove Foundation. We continue that relationship today with the purpose of providing affordable preschool for Le Sueur Families and surrounding communities.
